The biggest of thanks to everyone who attended and helped out at our annual Summer Fete yesterday. A grand total of over £450 was raised to help fund the centre and activities for our students.
There was a wide range of stalls and events offering everything from sweets and beauty supplies to tombolas and even eye-gaze target practice!
The event was kindly opened by the Court Leet, who we also need to congratulate for winning the eye-gaze competition! Bill’s time of 38 seconds was the fastest for the whole day. Well done Bill, it’s not as easy as it looks.
Students manned our stalls accompanied by our staff and volunteers, gaining valuable work experience skills in key areas such as communication and numeracy.
Again a huge thanks to everyone who made it such a fantastic, fun day!
